Owl Class have been learning about penguins. Please see their pictures and writing below! I am really impressed with how the reception children are progressing with their writing! Here are Guilio’s and Hilda’s reports.

Woodpecker Class have been learning about ‘The Learning Pit’. This is a metaphor to help children understand that learning can be very hard, and they need to have strategies to help them when they are stuck and feel that they are ‘in the pit’! They made their own versions, which can be seen outside Eagle and Woodpecker classes.

In Religious Education, Eagle Class have been learning about the meanings behind some of the writings in the Gospels, and what these might mean for the lives of Christians.

Flamingo Class concluded their learning about the different regions of the United Kingdom, by performing a persuasive presentation to encourage Mrs Orrock and Trish to visit their region. Please see a video below of the ‘England’ group, who were very enthusiastic about fish and chips and roast dinners!
