Joining our School Community
We are a Church of England school, but we welcome children of all faiths or no faith to our close-knit and friendly community. Each year, a new group of children join us in Reception Class. We also quite often have a small number of places in other years, since we have many children of academics who are in Cambridge only for a few years.
Over 140 years old, Park Street Church of England Primary School is a wonderful, friendly, small school of only 120 pupils. It is in an amazing location on a secure site in the centre of Cambridge, surrounded by the oldest Colleges of Cambridge University yet only 5 minutes walk from Jesus Green, where the children play at lunchtimes. Children are taught in groups within mixed-age classes, enabling teachers to really understand the children’s learning and help them to make their next steps, stretching and challenging them to achieve beyond their expectations!
Our local Authority (Cambridgeshire County Council) should be contacted to find out about our admissions and appeal arrangements. Please visit their website or by phone on 0345 045 1370, as this contains important information on admission and appeal dates, as well as the processes.
