The children and teachers really enjoyed our well-being day, last Friday. For the first time since before the Covid-19 pandemic, we were able to mix the children up into their ‘House’ groups, so that everybody could get to know some children in the other half of the school. They took part in four activities: yoga and mindfulness, clay  modelling, singing and leaf-painting. It was a delight to see the older children really supporting the younger ones, especially in their art work, and organising some games for them on Jesus Green at lunchtime. We are looking forward to increasing the number of these opportunities, as, at Park Street, we have always prided ourselves on our ‘family atmosphere’, where we make the most of learning through all aspects of our diversity.
