As the weather has suddenly got sunnier, please could I remind you to send your child to school with a hat and some sunscreen. The children are given time to apply this, before going to the Green at lunchtime. Please also remember some of our school uniform rules – please do not send your child in open-toed sandals, denim shorts or sun-tops and dresses, with bare shoulders. The children have asked me where school uniform dresses can be bought – most supermarkets stock them and they can be bought online – for example:
At Park Street we prefer the blue ones. If you have any that your child has grown out of, please send them in because we can easily pass them on to families who would be glad of them. Also any polo-shirts and sweatshirts.
We also have access to a ‘hardship fund’ for school clothing; please let us know if you would like to apply for this.
