Robin Class had a visit from the group ‘History off the Page’ this week, which helped them in their learning about the ‘Great Fire of London’. All the children had a wonderful day, and learned so much through the storytelling and activities. You can see from the photographs that they were able to try a variety of crafts from the period, including embroidery, making clay buttons, candle-making, leather embossing and writing with a quill pen. They also learned how medicines were made, and took part in some archaeology and drama activities. A big thank you to all the parents who helped to make this a success, the PTA who helped with the cost, and Mrs Cardenas who organised it!
