On Thursday of the last week of term, we had a special day to focus on RE. All the teachers took, as their inspiration, the quote from Proverbs 31: V 8-9:
Speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves
Speak up for the rights of all those who are poor
Speak up and judge fairly
Speak up for the rights of those who are poor and needy
An activity was planned which could be adapted for each class. The children rotated around the school, so that everybody took a turn at each one! It was a great opportunity to explore such an important topic, and for the teachers to get to know and interact with all the children at Park Street. They created poetry, artwork, posters and learned to work as a team. Huge thanks to Mrs List, our RE lead, for planning and leading the day! Please enjoy the photographs!
