All the children really enjoyed an afternoon of art lessons, learning about painting techniques. It was wonderful to see the progression of learning, from Reception to Year Six. The Reception children in Owl Class were learning to mix powder paints, while Robin Class were learning different painting techniques. Woodpecker Class were learning to mix paint for their Rainforest pictures, and Eagle Class were recognising the use of painting techniques in the work of a selection of famous artists, including Jackson Pollock.
