Fibonacci Day

Mrs Robinson organised a ‘Fibonacci Day’ for the whole school. The children had a great time investigating the Fibonacci sequence of numbers and seeing how these relate to spirals, the golden ratio and patterns in nature. There were many ‘wow’ moments, especially when considering the spiral of the ‘MIlky Way’ to the ancestry of bees, and how these are all related. In Collective Worship at the end of the day, the children discussed how these observations had made them feel, inwards, outwards and upwards, and the spirituality of their learning today.
