On Monday, Eagle Class took part in a ‘Schools’ Day’ organised by Ely Diocese Education Team. This was on the subject of ‘refugees and slavery’, and explored this topic through history, from local events in Anglo-Saxon times, to the present day. Although the presentations unfortunately were online, this was still a valuable learning experience for the children and they enjoyed taking part in the activities which were enhanced and led in the classroom by Mr Sharpe. The children used storyboarding and mood graphs to chart the characters feelings in these difficult situations.
