Eagles Outdoor Learning

In their ‘Outdoor Learning’ this week, Eagle Class collected natural materials and made model Viking Longships out of them, learning how to use different knots and lashing to tie the sticks together. Sails were added, using large leaves!  When they had finished the boats, they tested them to see if they would float, on Jesus Ditch. It was a fantastic way to learn more about their ‘Invaders and Settlers’ topic, in the warm sunshine!
