Eagle Class had a visit from the education team of ARM yesterday, to help them with their computing work. Through making cheese sandwiches, they learned how computer code and instructions have to be very precise and detailed! Mr Moore made a cheese and tomato sandwich very badly following the children’s instructions, as a computer would! In the afternoon, the children took part in a competition to design a programmable computer-controlled ‘pet’ (a BBC micropet) to keep another child company. The winning team’s design worked well and they were delighted with their prize! Please see the photographs and videos below!
