On Wednesday, Eagle Class spent the morning preparing some Anglo Saxon food, which was then cooked or heated over an open fire. They had mushroom soup, soda bread, blueberry pancakes and non-alcoholic mead. Whilst they were seated around the fire, some of the children recited passages from Beowulf that they had prepared. It was a very enjoyable and exciting afternoon!

There are also videos below of some excellent story-telling by the children.
