Eagle Class trip to Ely Cathedral

Eagle Class have just returned from a very successful trip to Ely Cathedral, where they have learned about its Anglo-Saxon origins, and the Foundress, St Etheldreda. This year, the Cathedral is celebrating 1350 years since it’s foundation by her in 673! They had a wonderful time meeting some ‘Saxons’, dressing up and even embroidering!
