Eagle Class had a wonderful day at Grafham Water at the end of term. The weather was absolutely perfect, for sailing and raft-building. Everybody learned to sail a ‘Fun-Boat’, including learning to ‘go about’ and manoeuvre with guidance from an instructor in the safety boat. When raft-building, we learned to tie knots to help to keep the barrels together, and attach wooden poles to make a structure. Finally, we learned to paddle it – excellent teamwork needed for this! Please see the photographs and videos below.
