Please remember to complete a form from the office beforehand if you are expecting your child to be absent in term-time due to travel. Such absences are only authorised in very exceptional circumstances, and may incur a fine from the Local Authority, especially if notice is not given in advance. All children should be in school at least 95% of the time. As you know, pupils need to attend school regularly to benefit fully from their education. Missing out on lessons leaves children very vulnerable to falling behind. Please do not book holidays in term time, and let the office know if your child will be absent for any reason.
