Everybody at Park Street completed a piece of writing just before we finished for Christmas, based on the story ‘Excitable Edgar’ (https://www.literacyshed.com/edgar.html). All the teachers got together to assess them, using the ‘No More Marking’ system, which does this using direct comparisons. The system chose our winners, who are pictured here. They all received a £10 book token, donated by our marvellous PTA! We hope you all enjoy spending them and reading some new books. Well done, all of you!
The competition will be repeated every term, using a different stimulus, so keep practising your best writing – next time it could be you!
