Prospective Parents

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Park Street Primary School for your child.

For those parents whose children are just about to join us in Reception year, you can view the New Parents’ Evening presentation below.

Our learning environment

Park Street Primary School is a unique learning environment for children. With only 120 pupils, relationships are at the heart of the school, where every member of staff knows our children and families well. Personalised learning becomes possible and successful when children’s individual learning needs and interests are known well by their teachers.

Children thrive through our encouraging, creative and ambitious approach, where the individuality and contribution of all is highly valued. The highly invested staff team are committed to seeing them grow to fulfil their potential, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

For our global population of pupils, we provide a flexible, responsive curriculum, led by enthusiastic teachers attuned to satisfying children’s curiosity and inquiring minds.

The life of the school

Park Street is a community where we all know each other. As a Church of England school, we welcome the diversity and faiths of our community and hold the following values: honesty and respect, friendship and kindness, learning and fun.

Our daily Collective Worship keep students, teachers and staff connected to each other, and we are an active member of the local community, partnering with museums and organisations to round out a student’s education. Our school borders Jesus Green, and children spend their daily outdoor activity in this beautiful space. Before-school wrap around care is offered to students, and there are numerous after school clubs offered, including coding, sports clubs, theatre, Latin, knitting and more.
