This week, in their learning about ‘The Islamic World’, Eagle class were finding out about how trade from the far east developed. They created a ‘Baghdad Bazaar’ in the classroom, and used Google maps to trace the journey of silk, spices and perfume across the world. Mr Sharpe brought in some spices for them to smell, and they also made perfume (oud) by smoking Agarwood!
