Eagle Class were lucky enough to visit the Cambridge Central Mosque this week. We travelled there by bus, arriving in good time for our tour. The children were enthralled to hear the information about the architecture, and the eco-friendly way it was built and is maintained, as well as inspiring facts about Islam and the practices of Muslim worshippers there. This knowledge was very helpful for their topic this term, which is ‘The Islamic World’. Please ask your children about this wonderful visit!
