Video Letter to Park Street School Children

Learning has been going well at Park Street this week, remotely and in school.  It is lovely to see videos of activities children have been doing at home (see the end of this post)!  Flamingo Class have been learning about how planes fly, and have made paper aeroplanes to experiment with different shapes.  Please have a look at the videos by William and Lucien of the ones they made at home.  In school, Flamingos have made a wonderful display about Icarus – please see the photograph of their very careful brushwork.

Woodpeckers and Eagles are continuing to produce wonderful writing, for example, completing a ‘Rainforest Diary’ and more space reports.  I am looking forward to seeing the completed biographies that they have been working on this week!  The children in school have also managed some outdoor learning.  Woodpecker Class and Charlie have been out to look at habitats, and Charlie also did some bird identification work with Mrs Hayden.  Eagle Class went out to Jesus Green to do some sketching on Friday.

I am so pleased to have been of help in this difficult time.

Best wishes,

As a school we seek to be child-led. When the Governing Body asked the pupils across the entire school to discuss what our core values are, this is what they said:
