Sadly, Mrs Cardenas will be leaving us sooner than expected, on 30th June. If you would like to contribute to a collection for her, please send this in to the office.
Mr Chris Sharpe has been appointed as her replacement. He officially starts in September; however we have been able to arrange for him to come in to teach here from Monday 5th July, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. He will spend most of his time with the Eagle Class children, but some with Woodpeckers too, so that he gets to know all the children he will be teaching from September. He has already taught Woodpecker class for one day in April. Look out for his introductory letter to everybody next week! In September, he will be teaching alongside Mrs Stevenson in Eagle Class, as Mrs Cardenas has done this year. We have been very fortunate to secure funding from CSOC for the extra post in Eagle Class, for one more year.
