As we (hopefully!) move into warmer weather, I just wanted to remind you and pupils of our few rules regarding school clothing:

Park Street has no compulsory school uniform, although our PE uniform has now been adopted as optional clothing to be worn all day in school. This is comfortable and practical, and allows parents and children to be confident that children are suitably dressed for all school activities. It also removes the need for children to change for PE, as this is not advised in the current Covid-19 pandemic. The uniform items can be ordered from MAPAC. Please follow the link.

If parents do not opt for their children to wear this uniform, there are many other similar items available in high street shops and supermarkets. Children are expected to dress comfortably and appropriately for school – sensible shoes (not open-toed or slip-on), covered shoulders and plain T-shirts and sweatshirts without slogans or logos. Children should not wear party dresses, denim shorts, board shorts or other predominantly ‘fashion’ items. Long hair must always be tied back.
