As the weather hopefully becomes warmer, and the children take part in more outdoor activities, please make sure that they are coming to school suitably dressed. Although we do not have a compulsory uniform, it is recommended that children wear the PE uniform, which can be ordered online from MAPAC:

Please also ensure that they have suitable footwear for walking and other physical activity. Here are our general rules for clothing:
Park Street has no compulsory school uniform, although our PE uniform has now been adopted as an optional uniform to be worn all day in school. This is comfortable and practical, and allows parents and children to be confident that children are suitably dressed for all school activities. It also removes the need for children to change for PE, which saves learning time. The uniform items can be ordered from MAPAC. Please follow the link.
If parents do not opt for their children to wear this uniform, there are many other similar items available in high street shops and supermarkets. Children are expected to dress comfortably and appropriately for school – sensible shoes (not open-toed or slip-on), covered shoulders and plain T-shirts and sweatshirts without slogans or logos. Children should not wear party dresses, denim shorts, board shorts or other predominantly ‘fashion’ items.
