Dear Parents and Carers,
What a strange week it has been! I can hardly believe that after two years of Covid-19 being around, I finally succumbed to it. Well, finally on the mend now, and I hope to be back in school on Friday. Those negative tests take a long time to appear!
There has been plenty going on in school while I have been away. Last Wednesday, Eagle Class visited St Clements church to watch a performance and take part in workshops about a Mystery Play. It was a very busy day for them, as in the afternoon they were joined by Woodpecker Class in a very successful trip to watch the Cambridge Wind Orchestra perform at West Road Concert Hall.
On Thursday and Friday, Victoria Goodman visited to deliver some Easter storytelling workshops to all the classes. Please see the photos below. As usual these were greatly enjoyed, and the children were spellbound!
