Dear Parents and Carers,
What a fantastic, sunny week it has been! Everybody has enjoyed this extension of summer, which has enabled us to be outside for Collective Worship and other learning. So good for our well-being!
I have been really impressed by some fantastic writing this week, particularly in Year One. The children in Owl Class have been writing their own versions of ‘Dear Zoo’ – please see some of the results below!
Several children who gained ‘Star of the Week’ this week, also were commended for their writing. We also recognised the helpful contribution of many of the Eagle Class children in helping our new Reception cohort with their lunch. They were so patient and helpful, really understanding their difficulties!
