There was a great deal of RE learning happening at Park Street in the last week of term.  Owl Class were learning to sequence the events of the Easter Story, and were able to retell it to me in detail in assembly.  Flamingo Class were thinking about the idea of heaven, and what it might be like.  Please see their fascinating pictures!

Woodpecker Class were learning about the Holy Spirit, and have painted pictures and created poems inspired by the theme of Pentecost.

Eagle Class have been writing ‘Psalms of Hope’ which can also be seen below.

I have been overwhelmed by the spiritual understanding shown by the children, and by their thoughtful and creative work. I hope you are too!

Owl and Flamingo class also had time to take part in an Easter Egg Hunt on Jesus Green, kindly organised by Liz and the PTA.  They had great fun solving the clues, and eating the chocolate at the end!

Please also see the Stars of the Week and Term, and our Challenge Cup winner for this term.

I hope you are all having a fantastic holiday, and I look forward to seeing everybody back in school on Monday 12th April.

Best wishes,
