Woodpecker Class focused on geography in their enrichment week. A trip to Stibbington included a walk to the River Nene, to measure its flow and observe the features. A quick lesson in map orientation on the way was useful too. They also had several visits to the River Cam, scrutinising various features to decide whether it is actually a canal rather than a river. On Friday it was their turn to use the programmable Lego robots. Please see the photographs below!
