Eagle Class had a wonderful time on Wednesday cooking over a fire pit and preparing food for a Mayan Feast. This included guacamole, salsa, tortillas, pomegranate, corn-on-the-cob, mango and papaya smoothies and hot chocolate. They learned about food, kitchen equipment and fire safety whilst doing this. Every child followed instructions well and learned to chop food, use a smoothie-maker, use a fire to heat food and make hot drinks in a ‘Kelly Kettle’. Such useful life-skills!
