It has been wonderful to see all the children back with their friends this week, and enjoying their learning.

There has been a great deal of drama going on – Flamingo Class are learning about the features of Fairy Tales, through acting them out, and Eagle Class are working on the features of the Anglo-Saxon saga of Beowulf.  They have been exploring words for emotions by creating tableaux (still pictures) that tell the story.  Please see the pictures below!

Woodpecker Class are designing and making bridges – please see the photographs of their ‘work in progress’.

Last but not least, Knitting Club has been restarted by Mrs Hayden and Mrs Davison. We were all very impressed with the progress made by the beginner knitters this week!
